Hiroshi Isoyama Signature Kata Guruma

Hiroshi Isoyama Sensei dodges Uke’s Yokomen Uchi attack on the inside, lowering his posture to pass under the strike, secures the wrist with one hand, and grips between Uke’s legs with the other to carry him on his shoulders. The throw is completed by stepping aside to drop uke, rather than throwing him with a circular wheel-motion as in the Kodokan Judō-style Kata Guruma.
