This technique is illustrated in Figures 2–6 of the 1938 edition of Budō, a technical manual personally authored by Morihei Ueshiba.
🔖 Technique Notes
This sequence is the first one presented in the manual. This is a translation from the description of the technique from the Budō manual :
"Uke: Grasp your partner's left wrist with your right hand (2). Tori: Put strength into the fingertips of your left hand, turn your palm upwards, slide forwards and slightly diagonally, and move clearly to your partner's right (3), while remaining very alert to possible attacks from behind. Then grab your partner's right wrist from below with your right hand, free your wrist and strike their face (4). Slide slightly backwards again, grab their collar (or pin their hips against your body), move your right foot forward, putting your partner's arm around their own neck, and throw them to the ground (5 and 6). During this last phase of the movement, you will need to put force into the tips of your right hand's fingers and bring your arm down and inwards."
