This video is an excerpt from a demonstration by Léo Tamaki, presented during the 29th Festival des Arts Martiaux on February 15, 2014, at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy.
🔖 Technique Notes
Léo Tamaki Sensei enters in an Uchi Kaiten manner, sliding under Uke’s arm to initiate rotation. As Uke continues turning, Tori seizes control of Uke’s head, guiding the movement. The two end up back-to-back, with Tori securing Uke’s head grabbing the neck just under the chin and applying a standing, back-to-back executioner/reverse can-opener–style choke.
