🔖 Technique Notes
In this variation, Tori enters to the outside of Uke’s attack with a full 180° tenkan pivot, ending in a position parallel to Uke, almost shoulder to shoulder. As Uke is unbalanced forward and turns to face Tori again, Tori changes his hanmi to complete the kote-gaeshi cut behind Uke’s original position.
