🔖 Technique Notes
To perform Daitō-ryū Aikijūjutsu’s Ikkajō Ippon Dōri—known in modern Aikidō terminology as Ikkyō—it is essential to "immobilize the opponent’s elbow joint by grabbing the pressure point of the elbow". To accurately target this pressure point, the elbow must be seized using an "eagle claw".
