⛩️ Source
This video is part of the Kodokan × IJF Academy “100 Techniques” series, a joint educational project presenting a standardized, officially endorsed technical curriculum that unites classical Kodokan Jūdō with modern international practice.
🔖 Technique Notes
Sode Tsurikomi Goshi, or "sleeve lifting pulling hip throw," is a Jūdō technique where Tori off-balances Uke forward or slightly to the side while gripping one or both of Uke’s sleeves. Tori steps in close, lowers the hips and positions them under Uke’s center of gravity, then raises the hips as he simultaneously pulls Uke’s sleeves forward and downward, projecting Uke over and onto the mat.
