Ganseki Otoshi Morihiro Saito

The description of the technique featured in the book states : If you have perfect command of Irimi, you can lift your partner right over your head as shown here. Dropping him, head over heels, this is called "Ganseki Otoshi". As Saito Sensei consistently kept a copy of Budō (the technical manual published in 1938 under the supervision of Morihei Ueshiba) both at the Iwama Dojo and during his travels to demonstrate the founder’s authorship of specific techniques, it is likely that his Ganseki Otoshi corresponds to the form shown in the 1936 Noma Dojo photograph of Morihei Ueshiba.
