🔖 Technique Notes
Uke grabs Tori’s unarmed wrist in a Gyaku Hanmi Katate Dōri grip. As the wrist is seized, Tori turns his palm toward himself and places the Tessen on the inside of Uke’s elbow. He then kicks Uke’s midsection with his rear leg and sets it down in front, changing hanmi. In the same motion, Tori steps back while pushing Uke’s elbow downward with the Tessen, causing Uke to fall.
