Ikkyō Ura Preventing Katana Draw

As Uke attempts to draw his Katana, Tori seizes his wrist in Ai Hanmi Katate Dōri to prevent the draw. He then enters to the outside and executes a Tenkan pivot while raising Uke’s grabbed hand and controlling the elbow with his free hand, performing a classic Ikkyō Ura. Tori applies his full body weight onto Uke’s elbow, leaning heavily and almost falling to the ground while maintaining control through the elbow.
