Irimi with Bokutō against Ōdachi – omote & ura

Here, Seki Sensei demonstrates what in Aikiken is called kirikaeshi. As Uke attacks with Shōmen Uchi, Tori enters on the inside of the strike, holding his sword with only one hand, and wraps his arm and sword to protect his body, parrying the blow and immediately counterattacking in a single, fluid motion. He then repeats the same sequence entering on the outside, showing how the movement works from both angles while maintaining the one-handed grip.
