Koshi Nage from Ude Kime Nage (Elbow-on-Shoulder Lock)

In this extract, Philippe Léon Sensei demonstrates a Koshi Nage executed from a Ude Kime Nage entry. The initial entry closely resembles that of Shiho Nage; however, Uke’s arm remains fully extended, with the elbow locked. To apply the Koshi Nage, Philippe Léon Sensei secures Uke’s locked elbow against his shoulder while loading Uke onto his hips. The throw is then completed through the controlled extension of Uke’s arm, which drives the projection.
