Ōsoto Gake with face/head grab (battlefield version)

As Uke seizes Tori’s lapel, Tori steps back and establishes a frame with his lead hand by gripping Uke’s throat, while simultaneously controlling Uke’s sleeve with the opposite hand. Tori then steps in, placing his lead leg behind Uke’s legs to act as a barrier, and lowers his rear knee to the ground into a kneeling position. Then, Tori throws Uke by driving the head downward and tipping him over the barrier leg. Maintaining control on the ground, Tori finishes by driving the fingers into the neck, or by transitioning to an armbar, as demonstrated in this extract.
