The content of this video comes from the leading figures of the Yoseikan Aikidō school of Minoru Mochizuki Sensei. This instruction is still given by one of their assistants, Terumi Washizu Sensei, founder of Gyukushin Ryū Aikidō in Shizuoka, Japan, who taught at the former Yoseikan Hombu dojo in Shizuoka.

As Uke strikes with a Jōdan Nukite, Tori steps back and seizes Uke’s hand with both hands. He then enters under Uke’s arm and pivots to face him, applying an Uchi Kaiten–style Sankyō wristlock. Maintaining control of Uke’s wrist, Tori drops to the ground in a Sutemi, executing a Yoko Wakare–like throw by pulling Uke across his body toward the opposite side.
