🔖 Technique Notes

Tori runs toward Uke and jumps forward, leading with his legs, his body nearly parallel to the ground. He then chambers both legs and brings his arms forward in the same direction, drawing into a compact, almost fetal position. As he closes the distance, he extends his entire body—legs forward and arms back—striking Uke simultaneously with both feet.
Rather than a sharp impact, the action functions more like a pushing double kick, driving Uke’s body backward. Tori uses this push to turn his own body and descend toward the ground, facing downward with his head oriented toward Uke. As he lands, he performs ukemi: making initial contact with his hands, then folding the arms to absorb the impact on the chest, followed by the waist and legs in a smooth, wave-like motion.
