As Uke delivers a Jodan Mawashi Geri aimed at the head, Tori steps to the inside and parries the kick with both hands, redirecting it downward. In the same continuous movement, he raises his rear knee to strike Uke’s attacking leg from below. The coordinated action of hands and knee creates a scissoring effect, with the kick guided downward while the knee strikes upward.
