Uke and Tori face each other, seated in seiza. Tori delivers an atemi to Uke’s face, and as Uke raises his arm to defend, Tori seizes it—one hand at the elbow and the other at the wrist. He enters to the inside at a 90° angle and cuts down with Uke’s arm, completing the Ikkyō Omote.
