This excerpt comes from a 1935 demonstration by Morihei Ueshiba Sensei at the Osaka Asahi Journal, directed by Hisa Takuma.
🔖 Technique Notes
Uke and Tori face each other, seated in seiza. Tori delivers an atemi to Uke’s face, and as Uke raises his arm to defend, Tori seizes it—one hand at the elbow and the other at the wrist. He then pivots to the outside in a full 180° rotation, extending Uke’s arm to complete the Ikkyō Ura.
